Shows to check out!!
So, you love the automobile, There are a few great shows to watch.
1. Top Gear, the hosts of this take on various cars that us average joes will never be able to touch. But there is a bright side they also test drive some that will we be able to touch, we just have to find the American equivalent.
2.Top Gear Australia, same premise as above just different country.
3.Fifth Gear, you get the picture same as the other two.
These shows would be nice here in the states, I heard that Top Gear was suppose to come to America, that will be cool as long as it does not get watered down!!

More GM news!!
Well, The General has put the brakes on Saturn, due the Penske deal falling apart. This is bad news because, this was the little company that probably could. With the right designs, development and money this company could have gave the import companies some competition. During the first years the company was marketed as a "new kind of car company", a concept that would have worked if not for greedy labor unions. Labor unions were great in the 70's, now they are just adding lots of unnecessary cost to the end product, make it hard to compete will the foreign automakers. (who are by the more American than some of GM cars)Well, before to long one will be able to call GM, BCC(Buick Chevy Cadillac). What's next!!!

what is up??
Okay, I understand that American markets are different from European markets, but look they are getting far better looking cars than we are in here in America. For instance the Ford Focus RS. This car is extremely fast and it looks good. It is equipped with a Duratec 2.5 liter, 5 cylinder engine.(Volvo engine)This car has a top speed of about 160 mph. I understand that 26,395 euro = 37,223.30 usd, but I know that Ford can find a way to make this car happen here in the U.S. Yes, I know that no one will want to buy a 37,000 dollar compact car. I really think that if American automotive companies do some of the things that they do in the European countries that they will do better against the competition. We love horsepower and at over 300hp this thing would surely find it way into someone garage......

Email to GM...
True story: emailed Bob Lutz yesterday saying this:
He actually replied or some on replied for him, he said that the G8 was his favorite sedan and that he will do all he can to keep it in the line-up. So there you have it. The buzz on the internets is that the G8 will be a Chevy Caprice. I guess this is a wait and see deal....
Dear,
Mr. Lutz, I am what one would call a car fanatic. I not owned very many, but I love them. I am writing this letter to tell you that I test drove the Pontiac G8 GT and the machine is a beast. I hate to see it go, so I hope that there are plans to move it to the Chevy brand. I know that you are a busy man and you probably will not read this email. But I thought I would give it a try. Back to the G8 I liked this thing fit and finish. This is one automobile that has been a long time coming and GM has done this one right. I hope GM will do more cars with this type of quality in mine. In my opinion, cars like the G8 and Malibu are the key to what will put "American cars" back on top.

2009 Pontiac G8 GT
The hard facts: The 2009 Pontiac is a beast, yes the brand formally known as Pontiac has built one hell of a car. Positioned in the driver seat I was able to see some nice craftsmanship. The car reminds you of the GTO, but with more doors. If you want to know all the techno mumbo-jumbo read a magazine. If you just want to know the basics, I got them here. This GT came equipped with bluetooth, remote start and a 6.0L V8 that rates 15 city/24 hwy.(the car had other features but these are the ones that caught my attention.) So if that peaks your interest, head down to your nearest Pontiac Dealer and test drive one, if you like it buy it. (While Supplies Last!!!)
